An exciting opportunity for youth with diverse abilities to belong to a group they will form friendships, socialize, learn life skills, build community connections and be empowered.
Connecting these youth to each other and their community as well as it give the community an opportunity to develop empathy and understanding of these youth. It also gives the parents an opportunity to get to know other parents whom they have things in common with and to help them build a new network of support.
This program is for youth ages 13 to 18 who have diverse abilities (special needs).
Youth are referred to this program through: Child and Youth Special Needs Social Worker, Ministry of Children & Family Development.
